Hello!
My name is Nathan Valin, and I specialize in various aspects of video production including camera operation and post production editing using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Alongside video editing, I have also worked on various projects that involved acting, voice over narration, and technical setup of camera equipment and sets. Being multi skilled in this field allows me to be integrated seamlessly within productions regardless of what task is at hand.
I am also a photographer, often taking photos capturing the beauty of nature or exciting moments from a bustling convention such as the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX).
A welcoming and friendly working environment is something I hold with upmost importance, as it ensures a steady production schedule and allows the final product to radiate the love and care that was put into it by my peers and myself. I am able to accomplish this by being flexible with production roles from my various videography skills alongside calm and descriptive team communication.
This work philosophy also applies to the volunteer work I’ve done at video game conventions such as Retro World Expo in Hartford, Connecticut, providing technical assistance for vintage electronics and strengthening the bonds between attendees and volunteers by providing fun and safe experiences that are easy to set up and replicate.
